I have read about state and federal incentives and credits for solar energy. Do these apply to the EnviroLight and SSX?

Some areas do have solar incentives for the purchase and installation of solar lighting kits for commercial uses. Your tax professional or state energy laws will tell you exactly which, if any, incentives are available in your state for the EnviroLight and SSX.

How do the EnviroLight and the SSX work?

Like all solar systems, the EnviroLight and the SSX use solar panels to convert the energy from the sun’s light into usable electricity. This electricity charges the system’s batteries. At night, when the the sun goes down, these batteries power the lights which are then used for lighting up your billboards, parking lots, or other applications.

What are the residual costs of these systems?

The EnviroLight and the SSX solar lighting kits are designed to help you avoid the residual costs of commercial lighting, mainly the monthly costs of electrical usage. The only residual costs of the EnviroLight and SSX are replacement batteries and lights, every 5 to 10 years. With energy savings and additional profits, the EnviroLight and the SSX will have already paid for these replacements long before they are needed.

Is there are a lot of maintenance required for these kits?

No. These kits are designed to require minimal maintenance. Aside from checking the levels of the batteries and the wiring once or twice a year (usually before and after winter) these systems are intended to be completely autonomous.
